Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using UntreX, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please don’t use the platform, and let us know why — we’d rather hear it.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your content, your ownership

Stories you write remain yours. Creating a story on UntreX grants us only the limited permission needed to store it and display it according to the privacy setting you chose — nothing broader, and nothing that survives you deleting it. We never use your content to train AI models.

Rooms

Public Rooms are open to any user and everything inside is automatically deleted after 24 hours, with no exceptions. Private Rooms are invite-only, fully peer-to-peer, and encrypted end to end with AES-256 — this content never passes through or is stored on our servers, and these terms apply to your conduct there just as anywhere else on UntreX.

Acceptable use

Don't use UntreX to harass others, post illegal content, impersonate someone, or attempt to compromise the platform's security. Full detail lives in our Community Guidelines and Content Policy — both are part of these terms.

Public stories and Discovery

If you mark a story public, it may appear in Discovery or Featured Public Stories, visible to people without an account. You can change a story's visibility, or delete it, at any time.

Termination

You can delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical, and a path to appeal.

Disclaimers

UntreX is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times.

Changes to these terms

We'll notify you of material changes to these terms before they take effect. Continuing to use UntreX after that point means you accept the updated terms.
